West Virginia's Helping programs

Educational Outreach Program

The Educational Outreach Program works with teachers and administrators to assess the special needs of classrooms and address them by:
  • Identifying community volunteers to speak to classrooms about career options
  • Sending volunteers to classrooms twice weekly to ack as mentors and counselors
  • Providing classrooms with supplies that are not available from the current school system.

Boots For Babes

The Boots For Babes program works with teachers, counselors and families to provide free footwear to children in need. This program provides shoes to three Kanwha County Schools. The goal of the program is to expand into more schools. Special Note*We only accept shoe requests through schools. Also, please understand, that we currently do not have the resources to help with utilities or rent assistance.

New Programs under Development

There are many other programs under development such as an eye-wear assessment program.
