Boots For Babes
Boots for Babes provides free brand name footwear to students who have been identified as in need by their gym teacher or counselor in Kanawha and Putnam County. We are working to expand our program to other school and counties in WV. Many of the students we assist only have one pair of shoes. Their shoes may be worn out, handed down, too big or too small or even held together by tape. In addition to shoes each shoe box is filled with socks, toys, school supplies, personal hygiene items, books, and in some cases, a coat and winter clothing. We work directly with the schools, ensuring those most in need are helped. We also consider siblings living in the home who may need shoes as well.
When students receive new shoes that fit properly, you are also giving them a sense of hope, confidence, dignity, and pride. Our goal is to keep feet warm and dry during the winter months. Our program is cost effective with 100% of contributions directly helping kids. No one within our organization is paid. Special Note*We only accept shoe requests through schools. Also, please understand that we currently do not have the resources to help with utilities or rent assistance.

Educational Outreach Program
Education outreach programs partner with teachers and administrators to provide materials and support year-round. From book fairs to classrooms, volunteers enhance student learning while fostering a strong sense of community.
